Sounds trite, maybe, but sometimes the whole world feels like my own not so little allotment. From free food growing on the trees overhead to birds waking me each morning with their sweet song, the earth reaches out to me and heals me. I am her willing caretaker. I’ll argue for animism with my last grateful breath.
Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees. β Revelation 7:3, The Holy Bible

Welcome to the community fellow gardener π! If you search for a member called The Propagator he has an awesome activity called six on saturday where everyone writes a post about six things in their gardens. It is great reading all the links and seeing everyone’s gardens. I look forward to seeing more photos of your special piece of earth!

What a great tip, Nat! I will definitely seek out The Propagator here. I saw that “six on Saturday” thing on your site, but didn’t understand what it was about, so thanks for the explanation, too. Now I’ll go back and look more closely at the six things you shared about your garden. I, too, love seeing what other people have to say and show from their gardens. It can be so inspiring! I have years’ worth of photos of my garden and I still take pictures, although not as many as I used to. For awhile, one of my personal goals was to relieve stress by setting aside at least one hour every week to go outside and do nothing but take photos of things I found to be beautiful. I never had to go far, because for me it’s easy to see beauty in even the most common living things. The hard part is giving myself that hour.

Hello! I thought I’d come pay a visit as you left a ‘like’ on some stories I’d told in the Comments at Nat’s blog. I’ve been enjoying your site and I see that you love to find beauty. I invite you to visit my blog. At some point last year when there seemed to be endless gloom and doom in the media I started a Series named “Where and What is Beauty?” and invited various people to contribute a guest post. I’ll give you a link to click on that brings up the Series at my site (there’s more than what you first see on the screen – click “Older Posts” at the bottom to see more). I thought you might enjoy them. https://exploringcolour.wordpress.com/category/series-beauty/
